Prof. Zhenghua Jiang

After graduating in 1958 from Department of Electrical Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Prof. Jiang stayed at the university as a lecturer. From 1980 to 1982, Jiang studied at the International Institute for Population Research in Mumbai in India. From 1984 to 1991, Jiang served as Professor, Ph.D. supervisor, and Director of the Institute for Population and Economic Research at Xi'an Jiaotong University. From 1991 to 1992, Jiang was Vice Minister of National Family Planning Commission of China. From 1992 to 1997, Jiang was Vice Chairman of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party and Vice Minister of National Family Planning Commission of China. From 1997 to 1998, Jiang was Chairman of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party and Vice Minister of National Family Planning Commission of China; From 1998 to 1999, Jiang acted as Vice Chairman of Standing Commission of the National People's Congress, Chairman of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, and Vice Minister of National Family Planning Commission of China. From 1998 to 2007, Jiang was Vice Chairman of Standing Commission of the National People's Congress and Chairman of Peasants and Workers Democratic Party. In addition, since 2004, Jiang has been the Dean of School of Public Policy and Administration at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Jiang has been awarded two first-class prizes and two third-class prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award of China.

From 1998 to 2007, Jiang was Vice Chairman of Standing Commission of the National People's Congress and Chairman of Peasants and Workers Democratic Party. In addition, since 2004, Jiang has been the Dean of School of Public Policy and Administration at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Jiang has been awarded two first-class prizes and two third-class prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award of China.
