Jinfeng Du, Associate Professor (Young Talent Support Plan Research Professor), Doctoral Student Supervisor
Professor Du received his Ph.D. degree in Human Geography from Peking University in July 2010. From September 2010 to May 2015, he did his postdoctoral research in the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University, the Economic Department at Duke University and the Project Mosaic at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, respectively. He was selected as the Young Talent Support Plan Research Professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University in January 2015, and started his work in Xi’an from August 2015.
Dr. Du is the recipient of the Graduate Student Dissertation Fellowship from Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Pollman Postdoctoral Fellowship from Harvard University and the Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Charlott. He has participated in several research projects, such as the National Key Technologies R&D Program during the 11th Five-Year Plan (2005-2010), the Comprehensive Land Use Planning of Zhangjiakou City, the Policy Research of Price-restricted Housing in Beijing. He has published 13 academic papers on high-impacted journals, including 4 papers on SSCI/SCI journals.
