This will be a 2-part workshop aimed at young researchers in the social sciences to provide them with the foundations to be good, thoughtful and effective researchers. It is predicated on the fact that publishing one’s research in a high-impact journal requires deep knowledge of the literature, strong research design, good handle of research methods, good data, and strong communication skills to secure the biggest possible impacts on the literature. It is about research and research design, mechanics of writing, including document structuring, prioritizing, and impact writing, paper submission and review process.
